A driver was fortunate to escape without injury when the 4WD he was driving crashed into a cattle hauler.
At 2.50am today, Friday, November 4, the Casino Rescue Squad attended a crash on Dyraaba St, Casino.
On arrival, the crew found a 4WD wedged under a cattle hauler.
The driver managed to get out of the car before the emergency services arrived.
There was no one else in the car.
Rescue members had to use hydraulic equipment and cribbing to lift the trailer off the car so the tow truck could drag it clear.
Police are investigating the circumstances.
