It was another terrific win for the Casino Lions Australian Football Club over their mascot-namesakes from the Nambucca Valley.
The Lions got the early jump, but a surge before half time saw the visitors pinch a one point lead into the main break.
The Casino Lions pulled together for a solid second half, running away in the final quarter to record a 5-goal win.
The final scores were Casino Lions 9.11.65 d Nambucca Valley Lions 5.3.33.
Onward to the finals for the Casino Lions. This is a fantastic story for the club, having reformed in 2021 after 12 years out of the competition.
