NSW Police arrested the 33 year old man and 31 year old woman following investigations into an organised crime syndicate operating between NSW and Queensland.

About 8.45am on Tuesday, December 21, detectives arrested the man and woman at a home on McClelland Rd in Barkers Vale.
They were taken to Lismore Police Station and each was charged with the import of a marketable quantity of a border controlled drug, attempting to possess a marketable quantity of unlawful import border control drug, dealing with the proceeds of indictable crime and direct activities of a criminal organisation.
Each was refused bail.
