The first beer pulled at the Broady will be auctioned off with money going to the Wolfpack – a men’s support group.
Publican Lynette Brown is officially opening the Broadwater Hotel today, Friday, December 15.
She is exhausted but excited, she said.
“I’m overwhelmed by the incredible support and welcome that I’ve already received from this amazing community.”
The beers are on tap – from a Landcruiser in the bar (yep a Landcruiser).
The Sugar Mill Christmas party is at 2.30pm with the official pub opening at 4pm where the first tap beer will be auctioned off.
There is live music at 7pm from Alan Alderman and a cash prize draw at 11pm.
The theme for the night is Coyote Ugly ( a movie) and Lynette is offering prizes for best dressed.

The opening night ends at midnight.
Lynette is likely to be even more exhausted then.
She has worked hard to get to this point. She painted the exterior of the Commercial Hotel black and has grand plans for the interior that was flooded to the ceiling last year.
