The much anticipated Bentley Art Prize has been cancelled for this year.
Coordinator Helen Trustum made the announcement on the BAP Facebook page.
“On behalf the Bentley Hall Committee I would like to inform you that there will be no Bentley Art Prize this year. So sad for me having to pass this on, but we have no choice.
“Hopefully 2023 will be brighter.”
The first Bentley Art Prize was held in 1985 organised by Reg and Phyllis Hartley.
The BAP is usually held at the Bentley Hall in the first weekend of August.
