Allie Walters, 11, was surprised when her rainbow coloured-checkered cake won Best in Show at Kyogle Show.

Best in Show was judged by Helen and Alan Trustum from Bentley. They chose Allie’s cake.

“It was so beautifully done,” Helen said.

Allie’s mother Vanessa Walters joked that Allie made the cake but she cleaned up.

The win was extra special to the Walters family because Allie’s cake was exhibited in the James Pratt Pavilion – James was Vanessa’s great grandfather.

Tonight, when Kyogle Show winds up for this year, the Walters family can enjoy the rainbow cake at home.
