Body found in bushland likely to be man missing since August 8

A body has been located during the search for a 67 year old man missing since Friday, August 8.

As part of the investigation, emergency services conducted several searches of bushland at Stony Chute in the days since he was reported missing.

At 10.35am yesterday, Wednesday, August 20, police found the body of a man during a search of a property at Stony Chute.

While yet to be formally identified, the body is believed to be that of missing man Mark Angus.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
