The body of a man was found in an overturned Ford Ranger 4WD in a creek on Gradys Creek Road yesterday, Tuesday, December 31.
On Monday, December 30 police were investigating the whereabouts of a 49 year old man from Queensland who had not made contact with his family since Christmas Day.
After visiting a property at Cougal, about 30km from Kyogle, police found the Ford Ranger overturned and partially submerged in a creek at Loadstone at 11am.
Police found the body of a man, believed to be that of the 49 year old, dead inside the car.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner about the man’s death.
