Agents yarded 1697 head at the Northern Rivers Livestock Exchange regular prime sale on Wednesday, April 19.

Young cattle provided the bulk of the offering with cows accounting for just under half the yarding. The regular buyers attended to a cheaper market due to extra numbers and a lapse in quality for a portion of the offering.
