The 37th Bentley Art Prize will be held on the new date of July 12–14 at the Bentley Hall.

For 18 years Helen Trustum organised the art prize. This year a new committee, headed by Gordon Serone, has taken on the organising.

“Helen’s service to the community, for which we give heartfelt thanks, has been truly amazing,” Gordon said.

“We wish her a relaxing retirement and hope she’ll come along to join in the fun, with no responsibility.”

The biggest change the committee has made is moving the exhibition dates to July.

This means the deadline for artists is earlier too. All entries must be in by June 28.

The committee announced Harry Westera as the art judge this year.
