Police wait for test results after car and truck collision at Anzac Drive

Police are waiting for the results of tests after a car and a truck collided near Kyogle yesterday, Friday, July 26.

Emergency services were called to Omagh Road and Anzac Drive at  about 6.30pm and found an 18 year old man trapped in his car.

The man from Caniaba was released and was taken by paramedics to Lismore Base Hospital to be checked as precaution and undergo blood tests.

Charges will be determined once police officers receive the test results.

The truck driver, a 24 year old man, from Boorabee, escaped injury.

He underwent a roadside breath test and it gave a negative result.

There was a crash between a car and truck at Anzac Drive/Omagh Road, Kyogle at 6.30pm today, Friday, July 26.

Police said the male passenger in the car was injured but was in a stable condition.
