Emergency services were called to a car crash on the Bruxner Highway at Mallanganee at 1:20pm today, Friday, August 16.
There were reports a person was trapped in a car.
When Casino VRA Rescue Squad arrived, paramedics were treating a person who had crashed down an embankment, through a fence and stopped 30metres into a muddy paddock.
The rescue crew, police and paramedics managed to remove the driver from the car to a nearby ambulance, it appeared that he had had a serious medical episode.
He was taken to hospital for further treatment.
