A car driven by an 88 year old man crashed into the glass frontage of the Aldi supermarket in Casino at 5.22pm today, Monday, January 16.
As the car smashed through the window, it hit shop shelving.
The shelving struck a 50 year old Aldi staff member. She was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver was trapped in his car and Casino Rescue Squad and Casino Fire and Rescue crews removed nearby obstructions using hand tools to help remove him.
The driver had no serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
