Emergency services were called to Glebe Bridge, Coraki, just before 10am today, Saturday, April 29, after reports a car had crashed through the bridge barricade and into the river.
The three occupants of the car– two men and a woman – were able to get themselves out of the car and were uninjured.
The female driver was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Richmond Police District have started inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
