Emergency services were called to Gibbon Street, Lennox Head, after reports of a home invasion at 12.15am today, Friday, December 27.
Police were told three men entered the home and threatened the occupants — two men aged 36 and 37 — with a knife.
The men demanded the keys to a Kia Sportage and a Mitsubishi Pajero.
The three men left Gibbon Street in the two cars.
The occupants of the house were not injured.
At about 2.30am the cars were found abandoned in Casino.
Police are searching for the three men.
