Casino has a kebab shop.
Two days ago, on Tuesday, November 12, Harjinder Singh opened Kebabs & Bubbles on Barkers Street.
The kebab shop is where the Mexican food outlet used to be.
A standard kebab is $12.
Mr Singh said he isn’t doing the bubble tea yet but plans too soon.
He has several kebab shops in Ballina and Lismore as well as an Indian restaurant in Lismore.
Why open one in Casino?
“Lots of people from here come to the Lismore shop,” Mr Singh said.
The response in the past two days has been “awesome,” he said.
Kebab & Bubbles does beef or chicken kebabs or the doner kebab which is a combination of beef and lamb.
Mr Singh said he uses low fat bread and offers a felafel kebab for vegetarians.
Mr Singh lives in Lismore.
Kebabs & Bubbles, near the Commercial Hotel and next to Londys, is open 10am—9pm on Monday—Saturday and 10am—6pm on Sundays.
