Ten year old Lietta McElligott has been singing her heart out at rehearsals for Annie at Kyogle Memorial Institute Hall.

With a cast of 30, rehearsals are full on.

Nearly everyone plays more than one role in the theatre production. Jill Runciman plays four different parts – Mrs Greer, the apple seller, Perkins and a lost tourist. Many others have three roles.

The cast are also part of the crew. Stage manager Josh Gill acts on stage and actors work backstage too.

Village Hall Players is putting on the production directed by Lynette Zito at Kyogle Memorial Institute Hall on May 13, 14, 20 and 21.

Tickets are available online or from Clay Corner in Kyogle’s main street. Cost is $20/$15 concession.

Because the seating arrangements for Saturday nights is by table and theatre style for Sundays, the show is listed as two separate events on Try Booking.

Clay Corner only sells matinee tickets.

Here are photos from the rehearsal of Annie. Get your tickets before they sell out.
