Don’t disturb me on Sunday, October 9, ‘cos I’ll be gone fishing.
The NSW Gone Fishing Day is on October 9 and fishing clubs are invited to apply for grants to help run community fishing events on or around that time.
Clubs have two options.
Option 1 – Apply for a Gone Fishing Day package which includes:
• Rod and reel sets to assist with your fishing event
• Giveaways and prizes and information for your event
OR
Option 2 – Apply for grant funding up to $2000
Clubs must be incorporated to receive funding through a funding agreement with NSW DPI for this option.
