CHILDCARE FUNDING: Two local services receive a collective $495,000

Twenty-six childcare services in the Northern Rivers have received Federal government funding.

Federal MP Kevin Hogan said the money came from the Community Child Care Fund.

“The funds will support services that may need support to keep operating or to fund capital projects to improve services and increase the number of places available,” Mr Hogan said.

Two local childcare services to receive funding were:

Northern Rivers Community Gateway Inc operating Rainbow Region Kids Kyogle received $255,000 plus an additional $120,000.

Northern Rivers Community Gateway Inc operating Rainbow Region Kids Casino Vacation Care received $120,000.
