Susanna Freymark Every year Cathy MacRae decorates her home in North St, Casino. She makes and paints the timber cutouts of Santa and his reindeer. For the past six years, hundreds of people have come to see her house lit up from 7.10 every night. It takes Cathy weeks to set up the front garden with Santa, lights and everything else Christmassy. Her neighbour isn’t even trying to compete. A sign on Scott’s front veranda has one word on it that sums up his approach to decorating the house for Christmas. Ditto. Photo: Susanna Freymark This year, she is encouraging people to make a donation to the Casino Cancer Support Group. “My mum has had breast cancer,” Cathy said.
