A decision has not yet been made on approval of a liquor licence for the shop next to Coles supermarket in Casino.
The application was lodged with Liquor & Gaming NSW on October 10 last year.
The application is for a packaged liquor – bottle shop in the premises next to Coles supermarket.
Submissions for or against the liquor licence application closed on November 9.

On December 8, Coles advised Liquor & Gaming that they needed more time to respond to the submissions, a spokesperson for Liquor & Gaming NSW said.
The application will not proceed to the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority for a decision until that submission has been provided.
Liquor & Gaming did not state how many submissions were made by the community or how long a determination could take
Liquor licences generally take seven days, some 12 weeks and more complex ones can take up to four months. It’s been three months since the application for a licence closed.
