There will auditions for the main roles:

A female, 20-35 years – poised, sweet, gentle

A female, 30-45 years – very disillusioned, bitter and cold, big dance number

A male, 25-35 years – sleazy, slick con man, big dance number

A female, 18-30 years – attractive, a floozy and dumb, big dance number

Rehearsals for Annie begin on January 29 next year. The performances will be held in May.

Village Hall Players director Lynette Zito said if you have time to commit and are up for the challenge, come to the auditions at the Kyogle Memorial Hall, Summerland Way, Kyogle on Saturday, December 3, 9am–3pm.

If you are genuinely interested but cannot make it, call Lynette on 0429 922 169.

Further auditions for orphans, minor roles and chorus will take place in late January and early February.

We are a small community group and we welcome new members, Lynette said.
