Country kids can go on a free holiday break camp courtesy of the State Government

A free holiday for your children sounds too good to be true. You’d better believe it.
The NSW Government is offering children living in regional NSW who have been impacted by covid, border closures, bushfires, or drought a free holiday break camp experience in the January school holidays.
There are 440 places for residential camps and 920 places for day camps for children aged 12-15, with 18 camps across nine sport and recreation centres.
The programs are free of charge and include meals, accommodation (residential camps only) and activities plus free transport at some locations.
The Holiday Break Camp Inclusions are happening at Lake Ainsworth, Berry, Borambola, Jindabyne, Lake Burrendong, Milson Island and Point Wolstoncroft
Activities at the camps may include slip ‘n’ slide, stand up paddleboards, raft building, mountain biking, BMX, catapult, canoeing, kayaking, archery, cook out or survival skills, orienteering and problem solving activities.
