NSW reported 5,612 new covid cases today.
Across the state, there are 382 covid cases in hospital with 53 people in intensive care and 12 people who need ventilation.
One death was reported overnight.
In the Northern NSW Local Health District, there were 112 cases.

People are urged to get tested for covid at the first sign of symptoms and isolate until a negative result is received.
