NSW reported 6,062 new cases of covid today.
There were 149 new cases in the Northern Rivers.
Fourteen of those cases are being treated in hospital, with three of them in the ICU.
The new cases are from the following LGAs.
Ballina 23
Byron Shire 68
Clarence Valley 11
Kyogle 1
Lismore 17
Richmond Valley 1
Tweed Heads 28
Northern NSW Local Health District urged people to get tested for covid at the first sign of symptoms and isolate until a negative result is received.
