In NSW, 2,501 new covid cases were reported today.
Of these 34 were from the Northern Rivers.

There are five covid patients in hospital in Northern NSW.
The Northern NSW Local Health District urged anyone in Northern NSW who develops symptoms such as a runny nose, a scratchy or sore throat, or is generally feeling unwell, to get tested and isolate immediately, even if you are fully vaccinated.
Across the state, 261 people with covid are in hospital with 33 of those people in intensive care units.
No deaths were reported overnight.
