COVID: 393 new cases in the Northern Rivers

NSW recorded 20,794 new covid cases and four covid deaths today.

In the Northern Rivers there were 393 new cases, the highest daily amount yet recorded.

The cases were located in these LGAs:

Kyogle  8

Richmond Valley  6

Ballina  52

Lismore  25

Clarence Valley  43

Byron 159

Tweed 100

There are 19 covid patients in hospital in Northern NSW with four of these in ICU.

Northern NSW Local Health District advised people with covid symptoms to take a test and self-isolate until they receive a negative test result.
