There were 529 new covid cases reported in the Northern Rivers today.

There are 36 covid patients in hospital in Northern NSW, with six of these in ICU.
Northern NSW Local Health District reported the death of one person from covid. They were aged in their 80s and from the Tweed shire.
Across the state there were 49 covid deaths.
There were 2,693 covid cases admitted to hospital, including 186 people in intensive care, 73 of whom require ventilation.
In NSW, there were 13,354 new cases.
