COVID UPDATE: 370 cases in Northern Rivers, two deaths

There were 370 new covid cases reported in the Northern Rivers today.

Confirmed tests by LGA (PCR and RAT included) were:

Kyogle 8

Richmond Valley 38

Clarence Valley 81

Lismore 36

Ballina 54

Byron 42

Tweed 111

There are 23 covid patients in hospital in Northern NSW, with four of these in ICU.

Two people died from covid. One person was in their 90s from the Richmond Valley area, the other person was in their 70s from the Tweed area.

There were 10,130 new covid cases reported for NSW.

24 people died overnight.
