Three new covid cases were reported in the Northern Rivers today.
One case is in Grafton and the source is under investigation.
Another case is in the Ballina LGA and is a household contact of a confirmed case.
The third case is in Byron Bay and is a household contact of a confirmed case.
Northern NSW Local Health District confirmed an additional case has of a traveller to the region, who has been visiting Byron Bay.
This case is not reflected in NNSWLHD’s case tally as the infection was acquired elsewhere.
No covid cases were reported for Kyogle, Richmond Valley or Clarence LGAs.
NSW recorded 325 new cases of covid in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
There is now a total of 13 cases of covid with the Omicron variant in NSW.
