Kristy and Dennis Gill are no strangers to running a cafe.

They had a cafe in Coraki for 10 months but because they live in Casino, it made sense to have a cafe closer to home.

The Barker Street cafe serves deep fried hamburgers, fish and chips and wraps.

“We do take home meals, meat and veg, sausages in gravy with mash and I also make curried sausages, spag bol, lasagna,” Kristy said.

“I can cater for birthdays, and do cupcakes and fruit platters.”

Dennis and Kristy have five children that live at home.

“We have 10 kids all up between us,” Kristy said.

“I love working in hospitality as I love to cook, experiment with foods and see what I can come up with,” Kristy said.

“I have always loved to cook and bake. Eventually, all our cakes will be made in-store.”

Crazy Cow Cafe is open Monday–Saturday 830am–730pm.

Cafe is closed on Sundays. Find the cafe opposite Casino Post Office on Barker Street.

Kristy is selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts by order to help business owner Lorraine Webber whose Casino business Summerland Textiles was destroyed by fire on April 29.
