Fire crews extinguished a grassfire that had spread to a historic coal loader at Bent St, Casino yesterday, Sunday, August 27.
They left the site at 6pm.
In the early hours of this morning, the old coal loader reignited and the Casino Fire and Rescue unit raced back to Bent St to put out the fire.
Firefighters battled the blaze from 3am until 8.30am.
Tomki, Casino, Woodview and Kyogle RFS crews assisted.
The cause of the reignition is unknown and is under investigation.
