The Kyogle Community Network meets monthly where nine charities and agencies discuss what is needed in the community —blankets, towels, sleeping bags and tents are what is required right now in Kyogle.
Grace O’Neill from the community network said people could take the items to any op shop in Kyogle and the goods would be given to people in need.
In Kyogle there is St Vinnies, the Anglican Op Shop in Stratheden Street, the Red Dove in Bloore St and the Christian Life Church shop.
The charities will be taking donated items out to Urbenville and Bonalbo too.
If you have spare clean blankets, towels and sleeping bags at home, consider donating them to a Kyogle op shop.
Grace said the op shops support the work of the agencies in Kyogle helping those who are vulnerable.
In this cold weather, a warm blanket will mean a lot.
