There was a collision involving a ute and truck on the Bruxner Highway at South Gundurimba near Pelican Creek Rd at 6.30am, today, Wednesday, September 6.
The driver of the ute, a man in his 40s, was treated by paramedics for back, head and shoulder injuries.
He was taken to Lismore Base Hospital.
The truck driver, a 45 year old man did not have any injuries. He was subject to a roadside breath test, which returned a negative result.
The Bruxner Highway is now open in both directions.
