Drivers, 78 and 81, taken to hospital – one in a critical condition

Two people have been taken to hospital after a collision yesterday, Monday. February 5.

Police have provided more information about the two car crash on Summerland Way at New Park, yesterday, Monday, February 5.

Police said a ute and hatchback collided – the driver of the hatchback, a 78 year old woman, was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Lismore Base Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the ute, an 81 year old man, was treated by paramedics and then taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a serious condition.

Police established a crime scene and are investigating the cause of the crash.
