Emergency services were called to a car rollover on the Bruxner Highway, 2km out of Tabulam at about 1.30am today, Saturday, December 16.
Casino Rescue Squad rushed to the scene after reports someone was trapped in the car.
When the crew arrived, they found the upturned car but no driver.
There was evidence at the scene that the driver was injured.
Rescue crew members went to Tabulam and found a man with obvious injuries and bleeding but the man was uncooperative.
Police and paramedics arrived and the man was treated before being transported to hospital by paramedics with a police guard.
It is believed he was the driver of the car.
