Generational Genres is a collaboration between Carol Horton and Anne Langley who have been working alongside their grandchildren to encourage them to bring their artwork to the public.
Carol’s grandsons Brock and Bodhi, with Bodhi’s friends from Kyogle High School have created work around a theme of Teen Genres Kiosk.

Anne began painting about 10 years ago. Through a workshop with local artist Christine Cameron she became mesmerised by watercolours.
Anne’s granddaughter Jessica Langley is an art student using mediums such as graphite, charcoal and oil paint.
“I am constantly in love with the little moments and things that make life so beautiful. I believe that is what my art is about, depicting all that life is and can be in a way that is elegant,” Jessica said.
Generational Genres is on exhibition at The Roxy Gallery, Kyogle June 10–July 3. The official opening is this Friday, June 10, 6–8pm.
