Woodenbong and Old Bonalbo RFS crews were called to a car fire south of Woodenbong on Clarence Way at about noon today, Saturday, October 19.

When they arrived, they found a car engulfed in flames.

Luckily all occupants had got out of the car safely.

The crew quickly put on breathing equipment while one of Woodenbong’s newest members set up the hoses.

“It wasn’t too long before we gained control, and extinguished the car fire,” a brigade member said.

Paramedics and police also attended the incident.
