Casino VRA Rescue Squad was called to assist paramedics at a property at Wyan, near Rappville, at about 6pm, yesterday, Thursday, August 29.

This was following reports of a person having an anaphylactic reaction.

The rescue squad was sent to assist paramedics with access to the property.

When the crew arrived, access was by 4WD only and after travelling several kilometres, they came to a large, locked gate. The crew cut a link out of the chain to allow paramedics and rescue crews access.

When emergency services arrived at the house on the property, they were met with an abusive and angry patient.

It was quickly assessed that the patient had recovered from the earlier attack and was okay.

Paramedics gave instructions to another person as the patient continued to swear at responders and screamed at them to leave.

Crews left the scene and made contact with police for a follow up.

The information in this report was provided by emergency services.
