A community group wants to pamper women who have been through the floods.

Northern Rivers Flood Action Group is offering a free pamper day and a take-home gift for a selected number of women.

The pamper day will be at Revive Hair Salon in Woodburn where women will get a wash, cut and blow-dry of their hair. They can also get their nails done.

“We truly appreciate your resilience and strength during these challenging times,” the flood action group said.

“Because of limited resources the group has a small number of spots available.

“We will conduct a fair and transparent random draw to elect the women to be pampered.

“We apologise for any disappointment for those who aren’t selected.”

Entries close August 16, the draw is on August 19.

Text your name and contact number to 0404 067 797 by Wednesday, August 16.

Those selected will be advised of appointment times.

The flood action group recently gave free trees to residents to green their garden. Read the story below.
