Flood inquiry report released to public. Premier accepts the 28 recommendations

Finally, the flood inquiry report for the State Government has been released to the public.

Premier Dominic Perrottet said he accepted all 28 recommendations in the report.

Professor Mary O’Kane and Mick Fuller led the flood inquiry and held a town hall meeting in Lismore and other flood impacted areas.

At the Lismore meeting, 511 people attended in person and 91 online.

A total of 1498 submissions were received by the inquiry. Half of these came from the Northern Rivers.

32% were from the 2480 postcode area (Lismore).

9% were from 2472 (Broadwater and Woodburn).
