Two new locations in the region now have defibrillators – Cawongla and Urbenville.
Eight organisations share $500,000 funding from the State Government program for new defibrillators.
State MP Janelle Saffin said that with more people participating in sports, it’s vital that our local facilities are equipped with these potentially life-saving devices.
Cawongla Tennis Club receives $2345 for a defibrillator and Urbenville Bowling Club gets $2999.
So far, across the state more than 2500 defibrillators have been bought under this program.
