Get your clothes off – and swap ’em for someone else’s

It time to clean out your wardrobe and revamp it at the same time.

The CWA Kyogle Evening Branch Clothes Swap is on at the Kyogle Bowling Club.

Here’s how it works:

1. Go through your clothes and find any that you don’t enjoy wearing. Note: Clothes must be clean, undamaged, something you’d give to a friend. Please no underwear or swimwear. Shoes and accessories are welcome.

2. On Clothes Swap night, bring your bag of clothes to the bowlo, a spare bag to bring home your new clothes, $10 entry fee plus extra cash for the designer clothes auction.

3. While the clothes are being sorted, have a meal or a drink at the club.

4. Once the clothes have been sorted the doors are opened and you get to choose new clothes from the rows and rows of tables piled with your potential new clothes. Fill your bag with your new wardrobe.

5. A selection of designer or extra nice clothes will be auctioned off, starting at $1 per item.

6. Leftover clothes will be distributed among local op shops.

The CWA Big Clothes Swap is at the Kyogle Bowling Club in Larkin St on March 18 at 6pm.
