Tell us about where you live and your family
I was born and raised in Coraki and raised my six beautiful children in Casino who went to school there. They engaged in various local sports for Casino.
I have a big family ‑ six children, 10 grandchildren and 17 siblings.
Robyn has not been a councillor before
What do you bring to the role of councillor this election?
Hopefully my people skills. It’s not about me it’s about the people of the Richmond Valley LGA.
I would use my voice to speak up or question things as a councillor. I will listen to people’s concerns and needs fairly within reasoning.
What brings you joy in life?
Helping all people no matter age or genders walk of life.
What difficulties does your community face?
Employment, appropriate transport, doctors, children and youth activities, health and anything else that needs addressing. I’m sure that community will advise.
What is your job? What do you like/dislike about it?
I am a counsellor and I like helping clients see life through a brighter lens and listening to how they tell their stories.
Dare to dream – what is your vision for your region?
My dream is for community input for the whole of that community.
