Grants available for war memorials and honour boards

Communities can apply for grant to maintain or repair their war memorials.

The latest round of the Community War Memorials Fund is open. It closes on July 25.

Community groups can apply for up to $10,000 to help with conservation, specialist cleaning and repairs of local memorials including honour rolls.

In a previous round, Richmond Valley Council was awarded $10,000 for conservation work to two World War I honour rolls at the Woodburn Memorial Hall which were damaged in the 2022 floods.

To be eligible for funding, the memorial must be listed on the NSW War Memorials Register. More information here.
