High 5 brings art and tea together

Cassino Art Gallery is doing something different for its first exhibition of the year.

High 5 opens on Saturday, February 18 with a high tea starting at 4pm.

The exhibition features artworks from five local artists – Ralph Smith, June King, Gwendolyn Gray, Kevin Linsley and Laszlo Biro.

The exhibition includes art that is traditional, impressionist, abstract and there are some weird pieces on display. For the first time there will be an art in motion piece.

The opening includes a high tea under the marquee and costs $60.

Reservations must be made to secure a seat as there are limited tickets available.

The afternoon entertainment is provided by pianist Nick Peterson.
