Is this the plateau of covid? 391 new cases in Northern Rivers

There were 391 new covid cases reported in the Northern Rivers today.
Yesterday, there were 370 new cases.
Numbers of covid cases continue to sit around the 350 mark and the number of patients in ICU has remained at four or five for weeks.
Globally the numbers in other countries rose dramatically at the end of last year and the downward trend of covid cases through January- February looks promising. Check the WHO graphs here.
In the Northern Rivers, confirmed tests by LGA (PCR and RAT included) for today were:

Ballina 36
Clarence Valley 82
Lismore 51
Byron 38
Tweed Heads 146
There are 33 covid patients in hospital in Northern NSW, with four of these in ICU.
