Today is World Wide Knit in Public Day.
The main street of Kyogle had people knitting and crocheting on the corner of Stratheden Street and Summerland Way today, Saturday, June 8.
Lynda Clark said it was another reason to knit.
She’s looking forward to Yarn Bombing Day in August.
Lynda’s work can be seen in surprising places around Kyogle – on a power pole or coloured wool knitted around tree branches.
Anyone wanting to join a bunch of friends knitting and crocheting can come along to Crotchet Queens and Knights Wot Knit on Tuesday mornings at 10am–noon behind the Kyogle Library.
Here are photos from the public knitting and crocheting.
