It’s showtime!
Woodenbong
The Woodenbong Show kicks off this Friday night, September 2, with the Billy Gudgeon Band playing at 6pm.
On Saturday, September 3 there will horse events, comps in the cattle ring, a dog show, a damper competition, photography, cooking competitions and much more all day at the Woodenbong Showground.
There is an alpaca display on the Saturday too.
Kyogle
Come to the Kyogle Show on Friday, October 7 – Saturday, October 8.
There is a campdraft on the Friday with a Stockman’s Challenge.
Kyogle is seeking entrants to the Young Women’s Competition. You have to be 18-25 years old and have an interest in rural life. Go to the website and apply by September 30.

Kyogle hasn’t had a show since 2019, so everyone is looking forward to October.
Casino
Casino will hold its 129th show on Saturday, October 15 – Sunday, October 16.
Anyone interested in taking part in the John Gould Memorial Cattle Dog Trial which runs across two days can call Jessica Gall on 0417 122 766.
Casino Show will host a rodeo too on the Saturday. Call Jackson Felton on 0431 527 228 if you want to compete.
Like the Kyogle Show, Casino needs volunteers to put on the show.

Lismore
October 20-22 is the return of the Norco Lismore Show after it was cancelled the previous two years because of covid. Entry to the show is free this year.
This year’s show will feature a Grand Parade at the official opening and will recognise the life-saving work of the tinnie army and emergency services during the February floods.
