
Kyogle Council has allocated $39,858 to community groups as part of its Community Assistance Policy.
The application by Richmond River Beef Producers Association Inc was identified as worthy of support but should be funded by the council out of the event sponsorship budget.

Arts Kyogle $1426 to buy a laptop computer and software to enable Arts Kyogle to better manage their finances and record keeping.
Bonalbo Artists’ Alliance, Bonalbo Community Hall $1000 for art workshops and gala art exhibitions for the local district to be held in Bonalbo Hall.
Bonalbo Community Men’s Shed $566 to buy a replacement battery for the defibrillator at Bonalbo Community Men’s Shed.
Border Ranges Richmond Valley Landcare Network $1000 to buy materials and pay for labour to construct a purpose-built seed drying rack to support processing of native seed.
Border Ranges Riding Club $1500 to help with costs of the club’s annual insurance.
Friends of Ettrick Hall Committee $1000 to buy a slimline water tank, associated plumbing and attached firehose.
Gateway Presbyterian Church Kyogle $1000 to provide play equipment for new playgroup/Mum’s group.
Green Pigeon Community Centre $2000 to provide and install rainwater tank to community centre.
Jed Mulcahy $500 to assist Jed’s attendance at School Zone and Regional Athletics and Cross Country.
Kyogle & District Chamber of Commerce $1000 to contribute to the KDCC Christmas event including Christmas street enhancement and gifts for children in need.
Kyogle Bazaar Inc $1000 for entertainment for the Kyogle Christmas Celebration.
Kyogle Boxing Club $2800 to buy a fold away boxing ring to replace ring that was damaged in the 2022 floods.
Kyogle Bushwalkers $275 for a yearly subscription for Garmin Safety Device to ensure safety of bushwalkers during hikes.
Kyogle Community Economic Development Committee Inc trading as Growing Kyogle $1000 to purchase food for the Kyogle Community Christmas Luncheon.
Kyogle Family Support Services Neighbourhood Centre $1000 to buy equipment, plants and fertilizer for the Kyogle Community Garden.
Kyogle Family Support Services Neighbourhood Centre Inc $1000 to upgrade the men’s shed electrical equipment and buy specialised equipment to do more specialised jobs for the community.
Kyogle Family Support Services Neighbourhood Centre $1000 to improve the therapeutic wellbeing spaces at Kyogle Family Support Services by purchasing furniture and decor to create a comfortable and a safe space for persons accessing mental health service support.
Kyogle Readers and Writers Inc $2500 to co-fund the Writer in Residence Program.
Louisa Johnston Centre $1000 to host discounted Seniors Christmas Lunch.
Mallanganee Memorial Hall $1000 for catering costs at the Christmas arts and crafts market.
Michelle Webber $500 for hall hire costs for dance classes for low income earners and pensioners.
Sharon Tucker $500 to produce the Bonalbo monthly newsletter The Bloodwood Tree and for printing of information brochures for the Bonalbo Bird Walk, the Bronze Dog Statue and a business directory.
The Risk Hall Committee $5000 to upgrade the water storage system. Install an historical display of Hall memorabilia. Purchase tables and chairs and other equipment required to benefit the community.
Village Hall Players $2290 to buy technical and computer equipment, specifically headset mics, a laptop for audio and visual playback and stage manager communication.
Woodenbong Cares $5000 to subsidise bus trips for seniors days trips and senior lunches at Woodenbong Hall.
Kyogle Girl Guides $3000 so six young women from the Kyogle Girl Guides to attend the 2025 Jamboree.
